Privacy policy
Our software does not collect, transmit or store any of your data on our servers. Everything stays on your device, encrypted, under your control. We have no analytics, no tracking, no accounts and no cloud. We literally cannot see what you do.
That's the whole story. But privacy laws ask us to be thorough, so here are the details.
Who we are
Our software is published by Gestione Contrade S.r.l.s., Via Mattia Preti 29, 88060 Santa Caterina dello Ionio (CZ), Italy — the data controller for anything on this page.
The founder has been managing his own properties on the Ionian coast of Calabria for over 15 years — and for many of those years managed them remotely from Canada with an Excel spreadsheet, because every app on the market was built by software developers rather than by hospitality operators. He understood the compliance requirements, the guest relationships and the privacy implications of hospitality data better than any team without operational experience could.
So he built the software he needed: tools for operators who don't want to be removed from their own business. With most apps, the operator ends up as the layer between two platforms that own it — the platform that owns the guest and the app that owns the data.
We are not a venture-backed startup. We are operators who became builders because we were the customer who couldn't find what we needed. That origin shapes every decision in the product — including this page.
What happens on your device
Everything you enter into our software — properties, bookings, guests, financial records, tasks — is stored in an encrypted database on your device. The encryption key is a passphrase you create. We never see it, never store it and cannot recover it — no one can. If you lose it and have not saved it in your operating system's secure storage (Apple Keychain, Windows Credential Manager or equivalent), access to your data cannot be restored.
The software works without an internet connection. There is no sync, no backup to our servers and no “phone home” of any kind.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, your usage of the software, or any diagnostic or crash data. We do not use analytics. We do not set cookies. There are no user accounts, so there is nothing to sign in to and nothing for us to hold.
Purchases
License upgrades and credit packs are sold through the official store for your platform (Apple App Store, Microsoft Store or others where the software is distributed). The store processes the payment under its own privacy policy. We receive a confirmation that a purchase was made; we never see your card, your store account or your billing details.
Guest data and GDPR
If you use our software to manage guest information (names, document numbers, dates of birth), you are the data controller under the GDPR. The software is your processing tool: it runs on your hardware and the data never leaves your device. Your obligations as a host under Italian law (Art. 109 TULPS, Alloggiati Web reporting) are between you and the authorities; the software helps you produce the required files, but the data stays yours.
Gestione Contrade S.r.l.s. does not process your guests' personal data. We cannot access it.
This website
This site uses no cookies and no analytics; its fonts are served from our own domain, so opening a page contacts no third party. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security, for the technically necessary period, on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you write to us, we keep the correspondence only for as long as it takes to handle it.
Store privacy declarations
When Apple, Microsoft or any other store asks “Does this app collect data?”, our answer is: No. Purchase transactions are managed by the store, not by us.
Your rights
You have the rights set out in Articles 15–22 GDPR and the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante). Since we collect no data through the software, there is nothing to request, correct or delete on our side: your data lives on your device and you can delete it at any time from the software's settings. Children
Our software is a business tool for property managers. It is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how our software or this site handles data, we will update this page. Given our architecture, we do not anticipate significant changes.
